Artist Statement

The Falling Song explored extremes of male physicality. So the costume for the dancers had to be chosen with movement in mind. The idea for the colour palette came from images of images apples that had fallen from trees and rotted in the ground. This allowed for a subtly beautiful, but still masculine range of shades that felt relevant to the themes of the piece.
