Sarah trained in Motley Theatre Design in London, having previously studied Architecture at University College Dublin. She has designed for theatre, opera, dance and film. Designs for opera include Shortworks (Wexford Festival Opera 2013, 2008, 2007), Xerxes and La Tragedie de Carmen (English Touring Opera) and La Clemenza di Tito and Susannah (Hampstead Garden Opera). Recent theatre designs include Tarry Flynn and Twelfth Night (The Irish Rep, NYC) Macbeth and The Merry Wives of Windsor (Guildford Shakespeare Company) and The Chilean Trilogy – Villa, Discurso and Tejas Verdes (Prime Cut Productions).
