Grace O’Hara

Costume design

Grace gained her Fine Art Degree in GMIT, Galway, specialising in Sculpture and Performance Art. She went on to graduate in Production Design and Art Direction through Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology in 2008. On graduating she worked  as a runner with Element Pictures.

She has since worked as a freelance designer in theatre and film. Her theatre credits include work for Dead Centre, Talking Shop Ensemble and Rough Magic SEEDS.

Film and television credits include work as a Production Designer, Costume Assistant, Set Decorator and Props Designer. Grace also designs and constructs her own installations.

Lippy (Dead Centre) won multiple awards including two OBIE awards in New York, a Fringe First in Edinburgh and Best Production at the Irish Times Theatre Awards.
